WATCH LIVE Michelob ULTRA Pure Gold Haleiwa Challenger Day 1

This season, the qualification drama moves from Sunset to Haleiwa, where the Challenger Series finale will decide which twelve men earn their place on the Championship Tour.

Who’s In
Heading into Haleiwa, only one spot on tour is locked up. With a dominant performance in Portugal, Hawaiian Zeke Lau is the first surfer to officially qualify. After a season off tour, the powerful three-year CT veteran will make his well deserved return to the top level of the sport.

Who’s Next
Filling out the top 12 spots in the rankings are two former CT surfers and a stunning nine potential rookies. Alongside familiar faces Nat Young and Connor O’Leary is an explosive crew of young stars, from American Jake Marshall and Hawaiian Imaikalani deVault to Brazilian Joao Chianca and Australian Jackson Baker.

Who’s Close
Similar to the current top 12, the list of those within striking distance of qualification includes a pair of past CT competitors and a long list of hungry rookies. The ever-dangerous Michel Bourez and Matt Banting, the much-hyped Mateus Herdy and Jacob Willcox, and countless rising stars will all be fighting for the dream at Haleiwa.

Find out who qualifies when the Challenger Series finishes up at the Michelob ULTRA Pure Gold Haleiwa Challenger from November 26 to December 7.

Surfing
Florida has dozens of good surf breaks south of Sebastian Inlet, but the most famous is undoubtedly Palm Beach's Reef Road. One of the few places in the state where the surf can achieve true "big wave" status, Reef Road can max out at 15 feet. It's known by many as the best surfing in Florida.
